A man who has friends must himself be friendly,[a]
But there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.
My dear brothers and sisters
This passage came to me today and is such an important word in our lives in todays society. We call many our friends. But are they really? Are we really? I took a look at Websters Dictionary today and read its definition...hmmm....Should we look at ourselves? Should we assess our selves in regards to this word friendship and what it means? What about the basic and fundamental requirements of what it is to be a friend? What does scripture say about friendship? Who did Jesus call a friend? This passage and this word opens up many questions and provides much thought and prayer for us. There is a message, if not many for all of us here as servants of the Lord to share with His children. This scripture came to me this morning as I had a sister on my heart and in my prayers. One that has remained ever faithful and loyal as my friend. I love you all and will always do my best to never waiver and fall short of my faithfulness and loyalty to all of you. I love you all. God Bless you all and all that you do. Lots of Love.
Your brother
Dan
