I'm the Latino Outreach Coordinator for the Midwest AIDS Prevention Project in the Metro Detroit area and run a program for LGBT Latino's called La Comunidad. Each month our newsletter highlights notable LGBT Latino's forthe month and I am happy to say, you've been selected for the month of June 2003'. Through both your skating career and personal endeavors, you are a shining example for other LGBT Latino's that anything is possible if you put your mind to it. Thank you for setting the stage that just because someone is Latino, it doesn't mean that they should hide their sexuality. Both can co-exist and prosper together. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
