Hi Rudy, How are you? Merry Christmas. Did you do anything special? I have not been seeing you skating. I have been busy with skating, and I have decided to give hockey a try just for fun, as i just want to change gears. There's not much in way for figure skating at my rink, they have canceled most of the skate programs due to little attendance, and focus more on hockey, but I still ice figure skate, and I like it more than hockey.
This year sure did fly by. I myself did not do anything special this yr, except visit a friend and his family. It brings back memories to see little kids and adults opening presents and seeing their smiling faces, and even hearing the Christmas music playing. Seeing the kids enjoying their time with their Grandpa's Grandma's and uncles, just makes me relive my childhood Christmas times.
What hurts for me at Christmas time is the fact that loved ones pop into my head. My Grandma passed in November of 1999. She made our Christmas's so fun, and merry. Every Christmas eve we would visit her. Just this October my uncle passed at age 46 of lung cancer, so Rudy you can understand why Christmas can be a little rough for me.
Rudy, I hope that things are going well for you, and that life's treating you the way you want it to. I hope that you have a safe, healthy, and joyus holiday, and New Year. Sending to you big warm holiday hugs from your friend/fan Shawn.
