After watching this show,I was very shocked at how rude the judging was,Rudy, you of all people should know how mean comments can be hurtful considering most people cannot stand gays and there is still alot of discrimination. And Oksana or Pasha whatever you are calling yourself these days you are'nt even from this country and you may have been a champion skater but you both once had dreams of stardom and to laugh and step on someone elses'dreams,How Dare you both. You both should be ashamed of yourselves and remember what god has given you he can take it away that much easier and give it to someone more deserving.
: Rudy: Over the years, I admired your
: skating, even though I thought at
: times it came across as extremely
: fay. However, you had style and
: grace and overcame some challenges.
: Unfortunately, style, grace and most
: of all compassion are grossly
: lacking in your manner off the ice.
:
: Your rude, crass comments directed
: to one of the female constestants
: was shocking and completely uncalled
: for. Telling this person she has to
: lose weight has nothing to do with
: her performance as a skater. Did it
: ever occur to you how many young
: girls may be watching this show, and
: thanks to you, may be pushed just a
: little closer to anorexia and
: bulimia. No, and obviously you
: don't care and do not hold yourself
: accountable to what you say. Words
: have power, especially words from
: someone people may admire, and
: sadly, that includes you.
:
: Your behaviour, laughter and mean
: comments make you look like a
: bitter, catty queen. Yes...that is
: exactly how you come across on this
: show. Rudy...grow up and show some
: respect. You worked hard to earn the
: respect of others, including many
: who may not agree with your chosen
: lifestyle. Show the same respect to
: those reaching for their dream.

: I was sickened at your behaviour on
: the first episode, Rudy. I have met
: you backstage a few times and never
: thought you would come across so
: mean. Many people have supported
: your skating and your ilness, even
: though we might not agree with your
: lifestyle. You should be ashamed to
: be openly laughing at someone while
: they are trying to do their best on
: such a small rink. You'd should hope
: that the girl that you called fat
: doesn't fall victem to anorexia
: because of your comments. She was no
: bigger than Katerina or Roz. Do you
: tell them that, too. I will watch
: because I want to see them do well,
: but maybe I will turn down the
: volume for your comments. If I want
: to see nastiness I could waste my
: time watching Simon on
: "American Idol". Shame on
: you!!

: I agree Carl.
: I've been a supporter of Rudy, since
: I realized he was the little brother
: of George Galindo, who I adored and
: worked with many years ago.
: Last night I was surprised at Rudy's
: feedback and wished he had opted for
: constructive criticism. When it
: came to the scene where he laughed
: at another person trying to reach a
: dream, with a heavy heart I turned
: off the TV. (And I will not tune in
: again.)
:
: It's easy to lose sight of where
: we've come from. I feel last night
: was a huge lapse in common courtesy
: and judgement.
:
: I was tremendously disappointed and
: found the behaviour very juvenile.

: I have always admired your courage
: as
: a gay man dealing with adversity and
: the way you held your head high when
: faced with difficult health issues.
: However, after watching the show
: tonight and observing the way you
: laughed at a decent person trying to
: realize their dream I am left
: feeling more than disapointed, I
: guess I thought that you were better
: than that. If it made for better TV
: it did nothing for the high
: impression that myself and others
: had of you. Please don't sell
: yourself short for the sake of
: ratings.
