Nellie and Boffer, thank you so much for the fascinating information. Nellie, when you say Queen Mary's dress books, do you mean books she kept to record what she wore, clothing and jewelry, for each occasion? I, for one, would be fascinated to read such a record. I have wished for an exhibition of her clothing. It looks like it was extraordinary. I've wondered what happened to it all. It would be a wonderful display of craftsmanship.
