Those four Cartier bracelets would also make a nice present, separate from a tiara. With one gift, Kate gets a lot of jewelry options. She can wear as many bracelets as she likes, depending on her outfit. She could wear one or two in her hair. She could put two together for a choker, with some sort of motif in between.
AND, as the bracelets were a gift from the future George VI to his wife early in their marriage, it's a very personal/family symbol.
I wonder if the Queen would give them to Kate directly, or "give" them to William to give to Kate?
