Posted by Chisel on September 28, 2005, 5:57 am I want to remake a song that I originally composed exclusively on the RM1x four years ago. I loaded up the song on the RM1x tonight and saved in as a SMF in hopes that I could then load it into my computer and manipulate the MIDI tracks without having to start completely from scratch. Unfortunately, it's showing up as one MIDI track in every program I load it into. In the RM1x, the song is on separate tracks. Is there a way to break the song into its separate tracks so I can manipulate it on the PC? Thanks in advance!

First I'd like to say that I'm really glad to see this forum is still around after all these years. Looking back, I'd have to say that the RM1x is probably one of my favorite devices of all time and if I was stuck on a desert island with only one device, a generator, and a pair of headphones, I'd most definitely choose my RM1x. Okay, now onto the question...
