I quite writing tracks back a while ago, probably due to putting almost 10 grand into a hardware studio and then getting bit in the ass in the long run... i found myself using the rm1x as a stand alone unit in the long run, just because i didnt feel like programming... i always wanted to sit down, get the concept out... and so i did.... so now, im putting all my old gear (keeping the rm1x till last if i can get some productions going with it)... so now the debate begins... im thinking of purchasing one of the two current 'all in one' groove toys... the mc-909 or the rs7000...does anyone have good experience with the two units? im really looking at the mc909 basically becuase of the wave expansion port... and the chop function and what not... so whats your opinion??
