Posted by Mike G on May 9, 2005, 5:45 pm Quick question: is there a way to view on the RM1x the midi sequence used in the preset patterns? I heard a pre-recorded drum pattern that I liked and isolated it to one track (using the mute function). From there, I wanted to see how it was programed in step format. When I tried to enter the step recording screen, I got a message that stated that it was a pre-recorded pattern and wouldn't let me continue. One potential way of getting around this is by saving the sequence on floppy as a midi file and then loading it to Reason or something else, but I was wondering if you could do it on the RM1x itself. Thanks (and bear with me - I'm new to this machine!)
