Posted by davzev on May 2, 2005, 7:16 pm My rm1x (which i bought 2nd hand some weeks ago) loses some of its voice edit parameter & track effects parameter values (var,chorus,reverb) when i choose the 'disk' 'job' or 'edit' function. I work in pattern mode. But as soon as i return from the functions 'disk', 'job' or 'edit' (by pressing 'exit' or by pressing 'voice' or 'voice edit') it immediately resets all the effect values to 0 and also the voice edit 'cut off', 'res' and 'attack decay release' values are reset. This is very annoying especially since it also happens after I save my pattern to disk. Saving results in losing in my case...;-) - and now the strange part - Another strange thing is this 'suddenly remembering' occurs gradually and in no particular order. Sometimes it does remember its cutoff but not yet its res. And after another attempt it also remember the res. It also means that I have to write down all those values to be on the save side. Does anyone else have or know of this problem? greetings,

Hi there!
When i start a new piece of music I first choose a voice, then i play in some notes. Then tweak its voice edit params and put some effects on it to get a basic sound.
The strange thing is, that after a few attempts the rm1x seems to know that it has to remember its values, and keeps some of them up to date.
Hopefully it can be fixed by upgrading to 1.13, i do hope so.
Although it looks more like a unstable ram chip... :-(
