haha. Thats so funny. I have just recently dug out my rm1x also. been doing all my music on the computer. Lots of power but not as fun as twiddling knobs. The thing is, you can have both. The power of the software and the knobs and pattern switches of the rm1x. just get a usb to midi cord and you can use your rm1x for programming patterns of your computer. I use fruityloops, reason. Its a great live controller. I never much cared for the sounds. Most are horrible, but this way you can have both. try it.
