I want to be able to both start and stop the RM1-X but also change what section is being played in a pattern with a footswitch or another midi controller. Is this possible? Ideally it would be my drummer's SPDS but it only sends notes. There's thing by Midi Solutions called the Event Programmer that maps one event to another. So I'm thinking I could translate a specific note from the SPDS to a 'change section' event, whatever the hell that is, and use the foot pedal with the tap tempo feature. Maybe. Anybody have any idea?
