I have the first OS and i have no any chance for replacemenet -at least in this ####in country-. I only use the RM1x 'mastering' a slave sampler. Maybe you could find some external hardware midi box to filter 'all but note ons' by example. Sooner or later i'll have to get something like this: This hardware could solve some things. E-mail me if U desire. I think this forum won´t last forever.

Has the DX a Midi Filter? If it does, try to tweak some settings.
