Oh, i never tried the No&Yes Buttons, i allways used the Knob over F3 Button. Yesterday i've gone trough the listbook. http://www2.yamaha.co.jp/manual/pdf/emi/english/synth/RM1xE2.pdf
On Page 22 at the midi implementation chart you can see that CC16 is only recognized but not transmitted - whatever this means.
Function Transmitted Recognized Remarks
Control 16 x o Assignable Cntrl
1-31,33-119 o o Assignable Knob
x=no o=yes
If i find time at weekend i will try out some tings.
