User manual page 69 states what i said. I guess that the ''assignable controller'' mentionated is an assignable knob. QUOTE from Effect Parameter List (at its bottom) : ''(dot filled mark) Indicates that AC1 (Assignable Controller 1) can be used to control the parameter when VARIATION=INS''. The ''parameter'' mentionated here can be the LFO frequency of the Tremolo Effect or the Drive parameter of the Guitar Amp Simulator Effect. See the tables EFX parameters. The most of the editable via AC1 ''parameters'' at the tables --as you said-- control the dry & wet Effect paramater. QUOTE FROM U: If U edit the knob assignment via the display knob 3 you only get the pregiven CC presets to each assignable knob. Incrementing one step at time via the NO & YES buttons is possible to ''see'' that the CC16 is mentionated as AC1 and there is others CC's numbers replaced by names instead. Any CC from CC01 to CC119 can be assigned to any assignable knob. Try the seetings and post again. It would be nice to control the EFX parameters via assignable knobs. PD: Also i have been tryin' to insert in phrases some Sysex messages to toggle some EFX parameters with no any success yet. The Sysex info in the user manual has no examples, only code. I download the Rm1x EFX Sysex from this site and then insert some code strings in a phrase but in the edit view there is not place to write the entire code. The RM1x only has 8 spaces. The XG system exclusive (effect) do work tough :-) .
