Posted by joe on January 31, 2007, 7:30 pm, in reply to "About the RM1x Effects and AC1 (# CC16)." How did you assign CC16 to an rm1x-knob?, as far as i know isn't it possible. There are only some pre given targets e.g. volume, pan, effect sends, ... This explains why th knobs don't work, there is only variation send (CC94) and this isn't working in INSERT mode. Are you shure that CC16 is for effect control? I only know AC1var but this is an xg-exclusive command. I hope you understand my thoughts. --Previous Message--

I'm not shure that i understood all, but when switching from SYSTEM to INSERT mode, the variation effect becomes only available for one single track wich can be defined in the 2nd voice edit menu.
The strength of the variation effect is set in the 2n effect menu -> output level & dry/wet.

: When i set the AC1 parameter to an assignable RM1X knob and
: previously setted the master effect connection to INSert, the
: knob doesn't work even if i set my midi controller to send CC16
: to the track-channel the effect is applied.
: The AC1 setting can be used to modulate some parameters of the
: insert effects.
:
: I know to use and configure the assignable knobs very well.
: Simply the AC1 doesn't respond.
:
: Who would like to replicate this settings?
: thanks
