Help: using Rm1x and Roland Sp808

I want to use my Rm1x together with a Roland Sp808 to add some effected vocals and other things to the Rm1x tracks.
I would like to know if it's possible to do this in pattern mode or only in chain or song mode.
I'm a bit in trouble when it comes to make two machines working together...
What I've to do?
