Posted by TOTAL on November 7, 2006, 11:55 pm {all at the same time, no plugunplug play) i RM1x -> TI to make TI play ii TI -> Rm1x for rm1x to record the TI controller knob movements; rm1x has no midi thru = no risk of a loop iii RM1x -> SX to send midi stuff for more advanced editing iv SX -> RM1x to sync them together (SX as master is said to be better than vv; so far I couldn't do it in the other direction anyway) & to return the edited stuff (or mb transferring on a flopp might be easier) v TI -> SX to do midi arp sends & for the aforementioned advanced midi editing ideally, in one configuration. ************************************************* my idea: hardware mode, multi, three "MIDI THRU BOXes" (marked as "<" and ">" - do not mistake with "thru" option in TI and SX) see picture. EXPECTED RESULTS: i RM1x -> TI yes ii TI -> Rm1x yes iii RM1x -> SX yes, via TI iv SX -> RM1x yes v TI -> SX yes (via a BOX) vi SX -> TI yes (via another BOX)

HOW DO ACHIEVE THIS
Q1 is setup IV feasible? (no loops, etc)
Q2 can this be done by "MIDI thru box" device (I guess that's what they are for)?
