Did you format the floppy discs in rm1x before you saved the files!
If not ,copy files from floppy to your pc,format all floppys in rm1x and then transfer files back from pc

: Is been a long time I haven't been here. I notices your post and
: would love to help out. Can you see the files from the floopy
: disk in your PC? You might be able to recover the files from
: your disk and place them into a new disk and try to load it back
: into the machine. If that dosen't and you can not see any file
: on your disk then you might want to try a recovery tool on your
: PC to recover the stuff from the floppy disk. Then place it into
: a new disk and load it back into your machine. If that dosen't
: work then I am not sure what else to tell you.
:
: Good luck.

: Can someone please help? I took my Yamaha RM1X Sequencer in for
: repair. It had "Sticky keys". Before taking it in, I
: saved all of my music to floppy disks. After repair was done,
: all of my information on my disks doesn't seem to register.
: Whenever I load a disk into the drive, it reads "Disk
: error" or "Bad Disk" or something like that. It
: asks "Do you want to format disk?". I know from past
: experience that this could possibly erase the data. All
: information I saved to disks Post-Repair have no trouble
: reading, but everything I saved prior to repair seems to now be
: lost. I have a ton of music on a bunch of disks. Somebody
: please tell me that there is a way to recover these!!!?!?!! Any
: tips would be greatly appreciated.
