I don't have insurance... so I had to self diagnose and treat!  I have found that taking Mucinex® expectorant every 12 hours, as well as Advil® Cold & Sinus did the trick for my sinusitis. Mucinex keeps it from affecting my bronchitis/asthma, and the Advil relieves. I also took a spoon of plain honey to soothe my throat, and when it was really sore I drank hot tea with honey.
I'm glad you're on the mend.
Now I somehow twisted my back and have a pinched nerve..... ugh its always something!
