when we lived in Germany and even though Halloween isn't celebrated there, the German children who lived near the American Housing, learned real quickly that if you dress up in costumes and knock on the American's doors, you'll get candy...LOL! So, we had lots of little "German Spooks" knocking on our doors...I loved it!
