Actually, my dolls all pretty much get the same attention, whether articulated or not...........

It's definitely fun to have articulation on some of my dolls....it allows for them to more easily hold onto their bears and dollies! 
I love the non-articulated ones though too...I like the look of their bodies even better than the articulated ones when they wear sleeveless/short sleeve outfits or shorter skirts/dresses.
Personally I choose to add dolls to my collection based on their faces--not their articulation. If they have a face that I find beautiful or interesting, then whatever body they have won't matter to me
