He calls himself the friendly atheist, but I wonder if that's meant to be sarcastic or if he's not even aware of his hostile tone of voice and intolerance towards people who might have different views. In this particular video about debating God's existence, he seems slightly calmer:
You know what else? I almost agree with him. The question that pops up for me is whether any other species or non-human society ever debates the topic of God's existence. The first sentence of the Bible makes a statement that already assumes He exists. There aren't any accounts of Satan being unaware of God's existence or starting a debate. When he wanted Eve to rebel, he invoked God. When he tempted Jesus, he kept quoting Bible verses.
Did Jesus ever have to debate God's existence? He was living in a "religious" culture, but some of that was limited to the Jews. I'm not sure if the Roman empire promoted atheism, or if they just had lowercase "gods." At least one of Jesus' miracles benefited a Roman soldier.
St. Paul wanted to give a speech to the Greek philosophers. He started by talking about the "god" statues they had in their city, including one dedicated to "the unknown God," who he wanted to reveal to them.
You could go off on lots of tangents from the God debate, too. When people have the chance to debate something like God's existence, it amazes me that the atheist side will tell you there is no free will (or, possibly, that free will nullifies characteristics of God). Then how is there an ability to debate in the first place? I'm not aware of many positions that say God partially exists, or that atheism and theism are both true. Assuming it's a 100% true or 100% false claim, some people are able to believe in the opposite position. How do you do that without personal freedom and the ability to think for yourself? Again, I don't know that he was disputing free will, but it's a whole separate subject to show how human freedom doesn't have any impact on God being able to know the future or intervene in a way that guarantees positive results for the people who love Him.
There's another video from this man where he keeps asking variations of the same question about certain people not entering Heaven. I usually see the same theme in almost all of those questions. The person asking the question assumes that Heaven exists as a place to pat yourself on the back for doing good deeds. How do you reach that conclusion, though? What if it's more of a place where you can be reminded of God's presence (since Jesus is also there as a physical person), and there's not as much doubt or distraction due to evil? I don't see how that kind of place would appeal to atheists.
In other religions, the goals seem much different as well. I'd never claim to be a Buddhist scholar, but I listen to how my dad presents that belief system. Your goal is to make it through life without forming any strong bonds to people or material things. Then you disappear, get annihilated, "become one with the Force," etc. Do you see much room for Jesus and YHWH? If you were to form bonds with them, doesn't that hold you back from becoming annihilated? If your relatives were all brought back to life and assembled in a physical place, would you want to be there and have to avoid bonding with them the whole time?
I feel like I should be creating some YouTube videos about these topics or blogging about them.
