Dear Mary,
It seems that many members, even
after working the steps, will continue
to struggle.
Most of us are very good at struggling
because this is what we did for years.
This new way of living is not easy for
us because it does not ask us to struggle.
Instead it shows us a new course of living
and if we are willing to live this new
way, one day at a time, the struggling
will cease.
Trust our Higher Power
Keep our side of the street clean
Pass on our recovery to those who
still suffer.
I know that if I am not willing to
do this daily I will soon find myself
struggling again.
The last three steps show us exactly
how to live this new life.
Please continue to share and thank
you for reaching out.
