I happily "translate" mentions of god into the HP of MY understanding. I have no problem doing this or filtering out that which does not apply to my program. I do this for my recovery, for me it's "going to any lengths". Luckily, there are no "our fathers" or any other sectarian prayers in the meetings around here. They ALL used to recite that prayer at my NY meetings in the 90's. When I hear the G word I translate it immediately into my HP...to me the word is one of convenience only. Peace LD
