I'm surprised that nothing seems to have supplanted him, not even Aleric.
And it's not pleasant to see one letter stir up the entire household.

She hasn't heard anything from Stone in a long time - about 6 months - and yet he still has things are her house, and hasn't ever really ended things. That can hang over someone for a long time. And it's not even that you hope they'll come back - it's more that you get this sick feeling in your stomach, because you don't know what to expect - or you expect something bad. In any case, a letter like this, out of the blue, can stir up lots of emotion - and not just with Jeni! - I am beginning to think ...>>>

It's not easy, but sometimes you find a food item that is delish, even without - and sugarless blueberry pie is one that she's recently discovered. I figured that Grimm would enjoy making something healthy AND tasty, especially if Naomi requested figure-friendly baking (as he likes to bake a LOT).
