…To a “Come-As-You-Were” Party!
What were you and your resins doing three years ago, when the Realm of Resin was born? Here’s a quick snapshot of my resin family’s doings, at least what I can actually remember…
Almost exactly three years ago, I met a local collector and gave her a check for a doll I was buying. It was my second Dollshe, but my first Saint – Eli. Eron would follow less than three weeks later.
At the time, I had only seven other dolls: Kaida, Kohana, Wu, Ian, Heidi, Asher and M.

In early November, 2006, I was only about six weeks into making photostories on a regular basis. Although I had done a few sketchy chapters from that spring when Kohana arrived, it wasn’t until Asher was introduced that my stories became regular and more-or-less sequential. By the first week in November, I had posted nine photostories of this new series.
A couple months before April began the Realm of Resin, I met her for the first time at the BJD convention in Austin. I also met Clara, Beamlette, Patrice, Coleen, and Jillianne for the first time at that convention. (I was also rooming with Galatia9, whom I had met previously). Many of us sat at the same table for the convention banquet, and Shelly, who was sitting to my left, won the grand prize. April was our table hostess.
