Photostory: A Weekend Getaway

Cleary: There's still some apples and strawberries left if you want.
Aid: No, I'm good. Do you want any? There's more ice tea too. Cleary: No, I'm totally stuffed. I can barely move.
Cleary: That was a great wedding present from Nuala and Dominicus. And Dominicus' cheese and chocolate recipes were fabulous.
Aid: A fondu set is rather retro but I think we're really going to enjoy it. Cleary: You'd remember the 70's when they were first popular. Aid: Well yes, I do. Good food never goes out of style.
Aid: It was nice of Teague and Amerie to loan us their place for the weekend. Cleary: Amerie had that gig in Chicago and she thought we'd appreciate a little alone time.
Aid: You don't mind us waiting on the honeymoon? Cleary: With the wedding I couldn't take any more time away from school. It makes sense for us to wait until after I graduate this summer. Aid: We could still take a short one on your Thanksgiving or Christmas break.
Cleary: No, it's better to wait. Thanksgiving and Christmas should be spent with family. Aid: You've got plenty of family now. You don't mind?
Cleary: No, I love everyone of them. Even Loge. And I couldn't ask for better brothers and sisters than Conn, Dominicus, Nuala and Cleena. Aid: I could say the same thing about Teague and Amerie.
Cleary: Then we are truly blessed.
Aid: Unfortunately, reality will return for us tomorrow.
Cleary: I know. I've got a couple of papers I need to get started on.
Aid: And our publisher is expecting me to provide some sketches to that outline you've done for our new book. Cleary: [Sighing] No rest for the weary....
Aid: But not today. This weekend is for the two of us.
Cleary: Then lets make the most of it.
