Perhaps she was disarmed by him sitting down and not 'towering' over her

I look forward to hearing, or seeing what happens next.
I am also interested to see if Jake continues to be interested in her if she looses the angsty side of her nature

And that first shot of Jake using the doggy bin cracks me up!!!
