Off with her head!

......the Queen shouted! But Alice was such an adorable little thing that the head chopper couldn't bring himself to do it! 
A little Alice in Wonderland commission. The little dress was made of vintage nylon dotted swiss (had to have a little handkerchief linen underslip because the nylon was very sheer). I made the little Cheshire cat for the set because I had ordered a little pink flamingo but it was taking it's dear time to arrive and I felt Alice needed a stuffy. Then, just when I thought the flamingo was a lost cause, he finally arrived in the mail........maybe it should've been airmail? This is one of those sets that I wish I could keep.
