I still have dolls other than my BJD's. They've been here longer than my BJD's and I have enjoyed them....but.....the BJD's have pretty much taken over how I view my dolls. They're like "real" people in a sense. So much play and creative possibilities with them.
Most of my doll collection were for sewing models so that I could always make sure that when I said something fits so-and-so, it was guaranteed. I like my fitting dolls and I have even played with a few of them....but NOT like the BJD's.
I can't believe how they have entwined themselves in my heart. Shockingly 
I was thinking about this the other day and asking myself who I could part with if I needed to. You know what happened? I looked at my 'other' dolls! They would have to go first.....and indeed, this last Christmas, I sold 6 of them to have money for gifts!
I have never felt this kind of an attachment towards my 'other' dolls! I guess that qualifies me for 'hooked'. 
And I have not felt any of that love waning!
I like the format of the board......stories and pics would be lovely. I've enjoyed not having to wade through NDR and FS posts.
