...since there was really no other way to tell the story as it needed to be told. Although, it sure would be cool to build a set for the scenes that are described inside the old theater.
A lot of the setting is based on a real place about thirty miles from where I live. And there really is an old theater in town, although it's still being used for budget movies and is only around 80 years old instead of more than a century, as Asher's is.
