I am glad you asked me that, because I had to go back to my picture files to see when they showed up, as it has all become a misty memory.
I should say, at this moment in time, I am entirely enamored of the four of them, because it's time to prepare a collection for the Madame Alexander Convention, so I have no time to play with them, it's all Cissy, Cissy and more Cissy.
So now I like them because I can't have them, which probably goes more to my nutsiness than the dolls themselves.
I bought Plum 2nd hand in May of 2006, and subsequently became friends with the fellow who sold her to me at a local doll show. So there's a nice dividend, despite my complaining.
Henry arrived in time (November) for the Holidays in 2006. They were good, but they really weren't boyfriend and girlfriend, so there was an immediate need for expansion of the resin family, except I couldn't figure out whom to buy for quite a while.
When I saw the first of the Fins, I liked them but missed out completely on the special sale. Brodie came in December of 2007, 2nd hand, but still wrapped in her packaging from a lovely lady who may have had buyer's remorse. So Brodie and Henry made the first couple.
The Mir head came in April of 2008, followed by the entire K (who immediately lost his head), and fell into place as Lin, Plum's boyfriend, in June of 2008.
So there is the history. I do have my eye on another fellow, but he is fiendishly expensive, so it might be a while. I have started a slush fund, so that must mean something.
