Sometimes getting an unusual doll is kind of like getting a new car…>>>

You don’t see many others until you get yours – and then you see them everywhere! I do have one that is especially unusual, though; I have only ever seen one other (on DoA,) and don’t personally know anyone who has her: Domuya Perennial Ida.

Mine is light tan, which may make her even more rare, but I really don’t know.

I have come up with two completely different character plans for this girl, but have yet to make up my mind which to pursue. I do love her quirky face, though, and look forward to introducing her properly when the time comes.

There are several others in my resin family who are lesser-known and lesser-owned: Solenne, my Domuya Saisha; André, Dollmore Lawrence Owen; and Canaan, SSDF Flood. Also not heavily represented on the boards I frequent are Super Stevie (SoulSweet Agga); Edward (Dollshe Van) and Annette (SDF Annette).

I don’t think I have ever bought a doll because someone else has one, or because they are the flavor of the month – but I have avoided getting a doll on occasion for those reasons.
