How to post a photo story on this board using HTML tags: (Begin the message as you would when posting a text message. Usually the subject would be your chapter title, if you are running several story archs at once you may like to mention which storyline it's from, or who the characters are.) There are a few html tags you will usually need to know to post a story. They are: The image tag: <img src="image url"> (as we store in the photo posting how to) Bold: <b> on and </b>off (many people highlight the speakers name with bold before their line.) And possibly Italics: <i> on and </i>off The common format when posting a photostory looks like this: <img src="http://www.webhostaddress.com/image1.jpg"> <b>Tom:</b> I love the summer, it's so warm and shiny. <b>Betty:</b> oh me too! <img src="http://www.webhostaddress.com/image2.jpg"> <b>Tom:</b> Though winter in nice too. <b>Betty:</b> oh yes I like winter too. <img src="http://www.webhostaddress.com/image3.jpg"> <b>Tom:</b> And Spring, that's real pretty. <b>Betty:</b> I do like all the flowers too. once you've submitted the story it should look something like this(you need to pretend there are real pictures):
Tom: I love the summer, it's so warm and shiny. Betty: oh me too!
Tom: Though winter in nice too. Betty: oh yes I like winter too.
Tom: And Spring, that's real pretty. Betty: I do like all the flowers too. Of course you need not bold the characters names, or you may chose to add your dialogue directly into your pictures, or express your story without words at all. All are perfectly valid ways to express your story (after all it is YOUR story and you can lay it out how you want!). This is just an idea of the most common way. Usually the subject would be your chapter title, if you are running several story archs at once you may like to mention which storyline it's from, or who the characters are.) Click the Image button and insert your url in the box that appears (just as described in the photoposting how to) and click add. Type the text that relates to that picture. If you wish to bold, underline or italics any words highlight them with your mouse then click the button for that function. To insert your next image click the Image button and insert your url in the box that appears then click add. If the tag appears in the wrong spot you may need to highlight it and cut and paste it into the correct position, or click your mouse in fromt of the image tag and hit enter until it is far enough away from your text. Then repeat until all your pics are done How to post a photo story on this board using BB tags: (Begin the message as you would when posting a text message.
