The release is on as scheduled for the 23rd, but right now I think I'm leaning towards just going to Fife. My main reason being that I'm looking at picking up a new boat next weekend and a friend of mine has the same one. He'll be at Fife Sunday and let me try it out. I'm also kind of curious to see the post-Irene Fife first hand (for better or worse).

Think we're meeting at the Gap around 11am if you're interested.

What kind of boat? Play boat? River Runner?
Not sure now - Erik and you aren't going up, my guess Budz won't - Did Fife post Irene - changed a bit - more wavy and shallow in spots. Oh well, I'll end up mountain biking instead.

I'm open to the fact that Fife may suck, but I really just want to try this boat out. I'll be looking to paddle next weekend too. But I hope something else run so I don't end up at Fife two weeks in a row.

I'm hoping to paddle somewhere next weekend. Thought maybe I'd make the flatwater paddle up at River Bend Farm today, but no such luck. Oh well - there's always next weekend, or the weekend after, or the weekend after...
