Ok, we've all done the West - lets do the Suncook! Much easier river and not as pushy by comparison. Weather will be gret again! Drive not as long. Me, Tom C ... who else?

Hi Dan, Local as in -2 hour drive? Nothing around here within that radius. The Suncook is a guarantee 2 hour drive from Wendy's in Hopkinton MA.

OK, so let meet up at exit 20 off of 495 @7:30am behind the Wendys. Head north to NH. I put in a call to some MVPer's they are going to call me if they go somewhere else due to high water. TC

I'm In - I'll be there. It's the rt 85 exit (hopkinton I believe.) Go to bottom of Wendy's and go in the parking lot - It's used by mountain bikers.

Hey Tom - where are we going. I'm just a lowly open boater, and with all the high water, I'm interested in something II/III (preferably more II). Tougher than that and I'll head to the Farmington.

Never - the ground is so dry that for any rural river to fill we'd need at least 5+ inches of steady rain to saturate the ground, long before it starts to discharge into the streams.

I'm out. I have to work tomorrow. Been waiting for rain all summer long, we finally get a whole bunch and leading right into a weekend too...and I have to pull my first Saturday at the new job. Figures.

I have tenative plans for Sunday, but I could probably sneak in something local.

I'm in for something. Looks like the local CT crew is planning to do Crystal on the Farmington. New Boston is over 5' - Tom, you would love that run, I'd get trashed. I'd like to do the Westfield (Knightville or Porkbarrel) if it comes up some more - at 600 now. Suncook would be OK - I could stop and see my son at school on the way home.
