There was a kayaker who "broke the ice" with a 127 ft. waterfall drop in Brazil. No real ice but see the Today Show web-site and turn the sound on to watch a video and interview of the event. George Westerlund

Had a great day on the Branch - river was low, but perfect for poling - 3 polers, 1 OC1. Chuck did a beautiful stand up run of the Atlas Pallet rapid. I see that RICKA still paddles the Branch River which has good memories but has gotten to be beyond my ability to get to, except if I drive 11 hours from Lake Monticello, VA I miss you guys, greetings to Alan, Luther et all: from Eeyore, (certified with a signed certificate as the continuing Captain of the RICA Swim Team.)
