Great trip on the Upper Millers. Mike B. hooked us up with the neriverrunners group - probably 40 boaters did the run. Was great to paddle with Bruce D. River was prefect. I bounced off a few rocks, but made the run without a swim. You can see the pictures here:

I'm potentially interested, but would need to find coverage for my kids for the day - which may or may not be in the cards.
What time were you thinking of departing? I'm in Newport and could drive. When do you think we might get back (I don't know how long the run is).

Meeting at Uxbridge McD's off Rt 146 N at 8:45 a.m. back in Northern R.I. (Uxbridge McD's) around 5:30 ish, no promises on that return time though.

No cell,I'm old school and stubborn.
I'm not sure we've met, are your skill's up to CL-III ? What do you paddle ? I'll be interested to know so we don't have a problem once we're there. Not a run for beginners with limited skills.
