68.14.7.185I'm planning on 'Poling' the river so I'm planning on starting just below Zoar gap at the Picnic area and continuing to somewhere along Rt.2. Maybe the bridge in Charlemont, but I'm flexable. The section above the gap does nothing for me. Still looking to check w/ the wife for a date to go. Hang in there. - Re: Just below the gap

64.222.38.226Cat Radcliffe from OSA here. A young gentleman, Loic Gourmel, is at our shop and is interested in finding kayaking companions. He's from France (Brittany) and is an accomplished WW kayaker and canoeist (competed in C1 class at French national championships). He's also an instructor. He's interested in doing WW trips. What is the interest in the Deerfield this weekend?
He has a car and could pool/shuttle.
Right now he 's got limited internet access, so please call him at 401-450-4308 if anyone's going.

I would be interested in going on the 17th or 24th Saturday. I am not planning on going to the West which is the 24th. I would be interested in going on the Fife Brook section for one day. My phone is 508-761-7961. I usually do not have hard plans until several days before. I'll have a better idea after Sept 11.
