anyone want to teach me how to paddle?

I've done a fair amount of flatwater kayaking (I own a Necky Gannet), paddled a ducky down some class II/III sections in the Grand Canyon (and didn't swim the whole time!), and took a three day course at Zoar last year, but am still very much a beginner who would love to learn more. I don't own a whitewater kayak, but maybe I could rent one? Anyone interested, or who could steer me in the right direction?

Demo Days is happening this weekend at ZOAR (Friday, Saturday, Sunday). Unfortunately I will only be able to go Sunday if at all. If you can get hold of a WW paddle you can use their boats. (bring your helmet, pfd, and skirt). They are planning Fife Brook trips all three days. Also mini clinics in basic skills.

The Blackstone Valley paddlers has formal instruciton on the first Thurs of each month.Includes Flatwater kayaks, canoe, and
Yes, we also have ACA certifed whitewater instructors. You can start from there then expand to where you want go.
Checkout the BV paddler's website for time and location.
