Deerfield, May 20th, Postponed...

The trip for May 20th, is cancelled due to;
1. High water levels, est. at 1200+ CFS. 2. RICKA executive board safety concerns. 3.Zoar Outdoor's view of the high water level for novices.
RICKA's primary concern is for the safety of their paddlers.
This trip will be re-scheduled, TBA.

This trip that was postponed last Sat.(May 20) had a flood stage release that day of 2950 CFS! Avg. is 800 CFS. (Good-call to postpone!) With current price of gas...I'll check out the Clear and Branch rivers in RI, this weekend. If the water level still looks good. I'll post a trip for Monday, Memorial Day @10am. Class II.
