The shuttle was a nightmare - probably 80 people, so it took forever to load all the boats. We finally got on the river around 11:00.
I had a clean run down to Lower Poplar. In Lower Poplar, I started going middle right along the seam of the rapid, and then wimped out and moved right into the rock garden where I flipped on a shallow rock. I was close to shore so I was able to self rescue pretty quickly. Sometimes it doesn't pay to play it safe
