The Machias is a great trip. You can start at any lake, the best run is third to second with non-stop manuevering for two miles with fast water. Are you running with floats in ur boats? Im a solo paddler for the most part, liking to take my time on fast water. How late in the seasondo you all usually paddle until? These next few weekends im still moving a few things but am excited to head out soon.
