Unless something changes, we will be doing the Hop River in Andover, CT on Sunday. I’ve never done it myself, but is sounds a lot like the Branch or the Willimantic – flatwater, quickwater and a few interesting rapids that sneak up on you suddenly (short class I-II stuff). Unless we get a lot of rain, it might be a little low, but should be passable. Check back here for meeting time and place.
Matt – Crystal at 1200 sounds great, but I think I’m going to stick a little closer to home this weekend. I know those poling boats don’t usually come out until a little later in the year, but you and Aaron are welcome to join us.
Dave – this isn’t a WW river, but is should be nice. There’s talk of doing the Upper Millers in April. I’ll also be heading out west to paddle with Matt sometime.
