River Rescue Training update!
With a 3 to 1 ratio, and the top instructors from Zoar, the Swift Water Rescue training was excellent and challenging.
The water level was more than double the normal CFS flow. Challenging, yes. Cold water, yes, as usually.
The team work was outstanding with the group. All were hard working and participated fully.
We learned the latest techniques and skills in rescues.We benefited from previous years of trial and errors in earlier training courses years past.
This paddling group shares a strong commitment to excellence. I'm proud to be part of this group as the skill development, and adventures continue this summer.
Congratulations! to all the paddlers that completed the course this weekend!!!
Look forward to seeing on the river....more than ever! ha!
