Just to clear any misconceptions. This is 2012 and the AM band is for the most part dead and can't be fixed unless we unplug computers, turn off wi-fi, get rid of cell phones and convince somebody to manufacture a decent receiver. Hey I'd love to go back prior to 1984 when AM was king, but just isn’t going to happen.
I can tell you CKPC AM was in trouble in the 1990's and for the grace of god (sorry about the pun) Dick ran it like it was the 1960's with a 7 person news department and 24-7 on air personalities. Evanov was successful in taking 790 (now 530) Brampton (CHIC, CKMW, CIAO) selling time blocks like resorts sell time share to the diverse multicultural community. So to truly monetize this property, he is going to try the same approach with the Christian community.
So you may hate the music, think the Evanov's are crazy and throw darts at the late Sir Richard the Turd. However, there is a bit of background to make informed critical statements.
