ok the subgect of lack of runners has been done to death but with the efforts being made toproduce raceable ground for this weeks coming meeting there is absolutely no excuse for the pathetic lack of entries.we all accept getting runners on fast ground is a problem but so few entries is just beyond me.its such a shame that the south east areas continue to shoot themselves in the foot. bad enough for the public to suffer a walkover followed by a match at godstone saturday thes every chance the will be subgectic to a similar experience at P/H.whilst on the subgect of godstone i find it hard tom understand why earlier meeetings (where theres a betterchance of good ground) have 6 races yet this meeting(where you have expect firmer conditions) had 7 races planned, surely this is just poor planning .how on earth sponsors for races can be expected to continue topull up their money in these hard times only to see the races filleed by two or three horses is puzzling to say the least. i for one think we are seeing the slow death of pointing in this area and its being accelerated by the apathy of people not entering their horses. i hope we dont hear them crying when the theres no one there to see them galloping two astride round our local courses.just take a look at the entries and judge if my comments are out of order
