Great to read the young and old pretenders are awakening and are already sparring pre-season! How are the various PtP yards going? What news of new horses to the Area? Have to say I have been out 4 times to date with the ESR&M (albeit Autumn Trail Hunting) and not a single PtP qualifier in sight!!!!! With the wonderful Di Grissell now Under Rules, plus other long established ESRM names on the missing list, does this mean the ESRM Hunt Race is going to reduce to a potentially another farcical event that we witness at other meetings? Please no! Someone please come forward and regale us with lists of wonder-beasts in the SE Area upon which we can start to consider for great things over these overcast and moist wintry days.

Hold fast, Rhysy! A new issue of Pointing South East is at the printers and will be out in the next few days - full of stable tours and other good stuff. Extended versions will appear on the site shortly. Can't give at all away until the people without computers (a dying breed) have had first crack. It won't always be like this.
