| SUPPORTERS' CLUB AGM

All Club members (paid up for 2008) are invited to the Annual General Meeting at: The Rushes, Toys Hill, Westerham, Kent on Sunday September 7th 2008, 12.00 noon, courtesy of retiring Club chairman Howard Jarvis. Light refreshments will be served, so to help Howard's catering department please call 01732-750249 if you plan to attend.
The meeting is to elect TWO new committee club officers: Chairman and Sponsorship/Fundraising (formerly run by Alan Cowing, who is stepping down).
I'm not sure whose hats are in the ring, but I do know unofficially that David R-J has politely declined (he already does plenty for the sport!) and that there is growing backing for Nick Bowman. Nick is currently Treasurer, and a good one, too - and there would be a further vacancy if he won't/can't do both jobs.
All suggestions are welcome, but please remember two things: you must be a paid-up Club member to attend and nominate/vote. And it would be helpful, if you have a nomination in mind, to approach the person first to gauge whether he or she is interested.
